Speech Outline
Hook: Each year approximately 2.7 million dogs and cats are killed because shelters are too full and there aren't enough adoptive homes.
-ASPCA is a nonprofit organization; America's Society for the Prevention of Animal Cruelty
Body-
Main Point 1: This commercial is effective because it features innocent animals without a home and makes the viewers feel guilty if they do not donate to help them.
1. The animals have big, sad looking eyes and the camera zooms in on them to make the viewers focus on the animals.
2. The commercial shows the animals out in the cold and locked up in cages. These animals are neglected or being abused with no love or affection. If you are an animal lover you are going to feel guilty and bad for the animals.
3. The narrator has a sad voice and soft. The music in the background is sad and sets the mood.
Main Point 2: It is credible because you can assume the narrator is part of the ASPCA. They also show a man talking about the animals and he is labeled part of the ASPCA rescue team.
-Audience will believe them because these people are part of the organization.
Main Point 3: They leave the number to call and donate up the entire commercial. 
-You can call at any time during the commercial.
-They break it down and say it is just 63 cents a day to make it seem like less money.
-They say for a limited time they are adding in a free membership kit, if you donate you receive something back.
Main Point 4: This commercial was made for the new year. New year means new beginnings.
-"Give them the gift of life and healing;" they are being abused and deserve new beginnings.
-New year correlates with a fresh start.
Conclusion:
-Make the audience feel bad for the animals by sadness
-to persuade the viewers to donate to ASPCA to help the innocent animals

-support against animal abuse/cruelty
-effective because you feel guilty for not helping these innocent animals

In the commercial, ASPCA speaks out about how innocent animals are being abused, starving, receiving no love or affection, left in the cold outdoors, etc. ASPCA is encouraging the viewers to call or go online to pay $19 dollars a month to help these animals. This commercial was aired around New Years so it relates to helping these animals as a fresh and good start to the new year. The commercial most consists of a feminine voice talking about these poor animals and what you can do to help them. It then also shows sections where a man is talking and to the side of him it is captioned, "Tim Rickey, ASPCA, Animal Rescue." This commercial uses people involved in the ASPCA to make is more credible. The message this commercial is trying to convey is that these animals have no love or affection and are locked up or in other insufficient living situations. The commercial is saying that for just $19 a month you could help these innocent animals get love, affection and better lives. This association wants to put an end to animal cruelty. The commercial is trying to make the audience feel sad and feel bad for these animals. The commercial is in a sad tone voice and the music in the background is also sad to fit the theme of the commercial. The commercial is also trying to persuade the viewers by saying it is $19 dollars a month and that is just 63 cents a day. It also adds in that it is a limited time offer to get a free membership kit which consists of a magazine subscription, a photo of a rescued animal, and a t-shirt when signing up to donate. The commercial overall has a sad and persuading tone with visual images of the animals to convince the viewers to donate.

Strengths:
1. Correct format for APA

Weaknesses:
1. Title page does not contain the author.
2. Needs to explain quotes better
3. Repetition

Strengths:
1. Used Quotations correctly

3. Tried to make it clear and easy to read

2. Sources start on same page of writing in the paper
3. Should italicize titles rather than underline them and other grammar errors

Weaknesses:

3. Paper is messy and confusing to read
